Have you always wanted to make your own beer, but don’t know where to start? Do you wish there were people you could ask for help? Would you like to make beer with others who are equally as passionate about beer?

Well, you’re in luck because the Concord Area Homebrewers are holding an open house on Thursday at 8 Allison St.

The open house officially runs from 7 to 9 p.m., but the club will be whipping up a batch of homebrew that evening, so those interested in learning about the beer making process are welcome to show up anytime after 5.

In addition to seeing a batch of what will surely be delicious home brew made, you can meet other club members, ask questions and if you like what you see, possibly join.

There will also be some homebrews to taste and snacks to munch on, so there’s really no reason for you not to go.

And if you’re one of those people who like to know about stuff way in advance and put it on your calendar, the Concord Area Homebrewers will once again be taking part in Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day on Nov. 5. The location and time is still being worked out, but at least now you know it’s coming up.
