If you’re a fan of live music and fresh air, you absolutely have to check out Bicentennial Square on Friday nights.

Not because it’s the Pokémon Go hot spot of the Northeast (although that’s a fine reason), but because there’s free music there every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. And yes, that did say free.

You can thank True Brew Barista for that, as the coffee shop puts on the concert series. After all, Bicentennial Square is kind of its front yard, so it’s a perfect match.

There will be music out there every Friday night until Sept. 30, so you can turn this summer series into an early fall series if you want – just trade flip-flops for flannel.

Coming up this Friday will be David Shore’s Trunk O Funk, a regular staple on the Concord music scene circuit. The Mike Dunbar Band will take over Sept. 2, and Greg Cornell and the Cornell Brothers will be there Sept. 9. Go to truebrewbarista.com/events for a full schedule.
