Can you believe it, Market Days is finally here.

We know you’re probably as excited as we are for the 42nd edition of Concord’s premiere summer event, put on by Intown Concord, so let’s not waste any more of your time with Insider flibber flabber.

The festival kicks off Thursday at 10 a.m. and will be going strong for three straight days (June 23-25). Well, technically it closes down at 10 p.m. each night, but during those 12 hours each day, watch out downtown Concord.

There’s two music stages, located at Bicentennial and Eagle Square, along with the South Main Park Stage and a demo area at the intersection of Pleasant and Main. We’re talking lots of live entertainment starting at all different times over the course of the three days. There are schedules and descriptions of the various happenings, along with all kinds of great Market Days info, starting on the next page and going to page 28. There’s even a very handy map on pages 20 and 21.

If you’re looking for family entertainment, there’s the Free Family Fun on the State House lawn, mini golf and Krazy Kids play area in front of the Memorial Arch and lots of really cool cars and trucks for people to investigate in the touch-a-truck spot.

All along North and South Main, vendors will be selling food and, just about anything you could imagine buying at a street fair, along with the Concord Arts Market for three full days on Pleasant Street. The farmers market will also be going on Saturday.

Did we mention there’s a beer tent? Well, there is.

So take this trusty insert and carry it with you everywhere you go. Think of it as your official guide to Market Days.

And most importantly have fun. Check out intownconcord.org for all the latest info.
