Join the Art Concord tour

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites members of the community and visitors to its next Art Concord art tour to get a taste of why the capital area is becoming the cultural arts hub of the state. Local art galleries and other art venues around the city will join forces to offer the Art Concord collaborative gallery tour Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A brochure and map, as well as refreshments, will be available at each gallery. This event is free and open to the public and participating venues include:

∎ Concord City Audi Gallery, 2 Prince St., theaudi.org. Kimball Jenkins Art School student exhibit.

∎ League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Gallery, 49 S. Main St., nhcrafts.org. Holidays around the world.

∎ McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive, starhop.org. Photography by Tim Taber (with museum admission).

∎ Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden, 236 Hopkinton Road, themillbrookgallery.com. Artful giving for the holiday: Paintings, pottery, jewelry and sculpture.

∎ New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association, 49 S. Main St., furnituremasters.org.Furniture masters’ holiday showing.

∎ NHTI Library Gallery, 31 College Drive, nhti.edu. Movie posters from the ’40s and ’50s; Silver and turquoise jewelry by Harriett Blackey.

∎ Red River Theatres, 11 S. Main St., redrivertheatres.org. Paintings by Chris Kfoury.

∎ Rowland Studio, 23 N. Main St., rowlandstudio.com. New work by artists from Gallery 23.

Art Concord is a collaborative event between the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and various galleries in the Concord area to showcase the explosive art culture in the capital region.
